About

It's all in the details

I've been a maker from as far back as I can remember, therefore I always knew the creative path was the one meant for me. Naturally, I went on to pursue higher education at The Rhode Island School of Design for a bachelor's degree in Illustration. Here, is where I discovered my love of jewelry making. I instantly fell in love with the intimate scale of jewelry and the detailed, methodical process of the craft. After college I worked in the jewelry industry and afterwards enrolled at San Diego State University, where I completed my Master of Fine Arts degree in Jewelry and Metalsmithing.                                                                                                                           My jewelry is inspired by toys from my childhood, Japanese popular culture and craft and all things, cute and cuddly! My fondness of the adorable, helps me look at the world through a more positive lens, similar to how a child views the world with wonderment and curiosity. I think about all the things that bring my life joy and infuse this in my work in order for other people to draw happiness from my jewelry as well. The other equally important aspect of my work is making my jewelry with a high degree of craftsmanship. Since I am a one person operation, I set all my stones, fabricate with bronze, silver and gold from scratch, then finally polish and detail all my work under a microscope to ensure that everything is constructed impeccably. My goal is to always make jewelry that is well made and built to last so that the customer can continue to derive joy from my jewelry for many years to come. My jewelry is perfect for the little girl that is celebrating a special achievement in her life or for the woman that is forever a child a heart. As long my work can make someone happy, that's all that matters!
