My sister loved "Strawberry Shortcake" dolls when she was a kid in the 80s. She amassed almost the entire collection of dolls and accessories. I was so impressed by how well she took care of her dolls, ensuring that they were perfectly organized, displayed, and hair styled on point! I can still remember the dolls' sweet, powdery smell! I was definitely inspired by my sister's dolls when I made this necklace. This adorable strawberry pendant hangs from a sinuous vine. To add that extra bit of cuteness, I colored the pretty berry in a darling pink resin! This necklace is the perfect present for women who love the color pink or love strawberries. Jewelry that is cute and well-made? It doesn't get any better than this! :-)
The strawberry necklace is made of tarnish-resistant, recycled sterling silver. The clasp in the back is fashioned to resemble tree branches and leaves. The strawberry pendant is also coated in a durable, colorful resin. The entire necklace is handmade by me in my jewelry studio in sunny San Diego.
